I have always been drawn to clay – to touching, feeling, and creating with it. As a child I loved handicrafts, cooking, and creating.
The practical ambitious world led me to acquire a ‘proper’ profession and I studied and practiced western and alternative care professions for many years. Only after giving birth to my firstborn, I followed my dream and began to study and work again with clay. It felt like a homecoming, as if I had always been there.
In 2010 I joined a group of female artists and began painting as well. Painting felt like something from a place deep inside of me that had just been waiting to erupt. I had such a strong urge to create, that it gave me the courage to open a studio at home, alongside taking care of my family, which was – and still is – the center of my life. It was all made possible thanks to the endless support and encouragement I received from my partner.
Nowadays I have my own studio in Kfar Monash. My love for art and the need to engage in it are present every day of my life. I love coming to the studio, focusing inwards, and working long hours in privacy and silence.
Working with clay (ceramics) and painting are intertwined for me, turning from one to the other regularly is a harmonious act.
This site, totally outside of my comfort zone, is the result of my desire to gather all of my work onto one platform.
